About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled PHP Developer with 3–4 years of experience and strong expertise in the Symfony framework. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable web applications, developing REST APIs, and working with databases using Doctrine ORM.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and Symfony framework.
• Design and implement REST APIs for seamless integration.
• Work with Doctrine ORM for database operations, migrations, and queries.
• Write clean, reusable, and optimized code following industry best practices.
• Integrate front-end components using Twig templating and basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Optimize application performance using caching, query optimization, and other techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Manage code versions using Git and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of experience in Symfony development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Symfony (preferably Symfony 6/7).
• Proficiency in OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with Doctrine ORM, MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of REST API development and integration.
• Experience with Twig templating and basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery).
• Knowledge of Composer, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools.
• Experience in application performance optimization.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of API authentication (JWT/OAuth).
• Experience with caching tools like Redis/Memcached.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
